Record amount of water. Rivers overflowing. Just how bad is it? I was checking live\u00a0USGS Mapper<\/a>\u00a0reporting live water flow rate and water level in rivers, streams and bayous. Couple examples:<\/p>\n

Near Alvin, TX – flow rate is more than 10 times than max in last 55 years, 200 times more than mean. Flooded since Aug 26th.<\/p>\n

Near Wharton, TX – 10 times more than 78 year max; 50 times more than mean. Flooded since Aug 28.<\/p>\n

Likely Harvey seems to go toward East TX\/LA.\u00a0Live Harvey Path map\u00a0<\/a>with markers to water level – you can check your near-by waterway for up to date info.<\/p>\n

But still – more rain falling upon us. It would take several days for all of this water to clear away. And since we have no place\/way to go…<\/p>\n
